
Or better, integrate Ryzen Monitoring SDK ( AMD Ryzen™ Master Monitoring SDK - AMD) that already provides the AMD canonical way of measuring CPU temp. What I am suggesting is to provide an alternate "CPU avg temp" measurement for these processors where the temp is calculated similarly to RM/hwinfo.

In Ryzen master they are actually using some sort of averaging method to better represent the CPU thermal state. AMD's guidance is that "instant" measurements do not reflect the actual silicon thermal state. There is a clear discrepancy from how temps are reported by Ryzen Master and 3rd party monitoring programs (except hwinfo64).
